Katie's Bridal Shower

This weekend we celebrated Katie at her bridal shower. Everything was beautiful-- I wish I could take credit for all the decor and fun planned events, but that was all her mom and sister (MOH)! The only thing I did was the cupcakes (which came out better than I expected--more on that later) and helped with the "make your own mimosa" bar. They kept with her rustic (burlap, lace, yellow) theme that she'll have at her wedding. Since Katie isn't too keen on the "games" her sister had 15 questions about the couple, and filmed Beau (her fiance) answering them prior, then had Katie answer them first and see which matched up and which didn't. It was so much fun seeing his sweet answers to everything, and how perfect they really are for each other. A very fun day, as expected, and only a few short weeks until the BIG day-crazy how time flys.

Me and Mama!

    1. Hi Tess! We had plastic champagne flutes, then those plastic carafes filled with Orange Juice, Orange Mango Juice, Grapefruit Juice and Raspberry Lemonade. I got the "Simply _____ Juice" (with the green top) from the store, but I'm sure any other brand would work, too! It's nice letting the guests serve so that people could put however much champagne they want in them :) They were yum!
